you are very much here
and everywhere
I am lost here and everywhere
I in the I called I
refuses to flow further
wants to make a stop at the last point of turning
someone at the banks waving the flag
the flag in the colour of love
beckoned to the abysmal depth
to flow is the course of nature
the I in the I called I
refuses to flow further
a course of nature of course!
to stop is to pool up
to submerge what is in and around
drowned are the buds, flowers and plants
drowned are the men and women
centuries later...
a passerby stumbles upon a fossilized foot print
tracing the antiquity of a submerged village
on the banks of an otherwise calm stream
changing the course of nature
it had reclined on the banks
in the time immemorial.
